Changes to the Administrative Law List

    Administrative Law List.

    Commencing Tuesday 8 September 2003, the Directions Hearings in the Administrative Law List on Tuesdays at 9.30am will be before a registrar who will give directions for the preparation of the case and deal with any interlocutory matters within the powers of the registrar.

    When matters are ready for hearing, they will be referred to the Common Law List Judge to fix a hearing date, or if for hearing before a Master, referred to the Common Law Masters’ callover.

    Contested motions not within the power of the registrar will be referred to the Administrative Law Judge who will sit on specified Fridays to deal with such matters.

    Referral of appeals and applications relating to the Consumer Trader Tenancy Tribunal and the Administrative Decisions Tribunal to Masters will be made by a Judge in chambers. Such matters will thereafter be listed before the registrar in the usual way until allocated a hearing date.
