Courtroom changes for the Registrar's Corporations and Return of Subpoena Lists effective from Tuesday, 2 April 2013

Date:
03/26/2013

The Court would like to alert practitioners and litigants to an upcoming change in existing courtroom arrangements for the Registrar's Corporations List and the Return of Subpoena List.

Currently, the Registrar's Corporations List and Return of Subpoena List are heard in the Land and Environment Court. This arrangement will cease after Thursday, 28 March 2013.

On Tuesday, 2 April 2013, due to the impending refurbishment of the Land and Environment Court, the Lists will return to the Law Courts Building at 184 Phillip Street, Sydney.

Unfortunately, the Lists cannot be assigned a a designated courtroom in the Law Courts Building and their location may change each day. The Court recommends that practitioners and litigants check the Daily Court list after 3.30pm on the afternoon prior to the day you need to appear in either List. The Daily Court List will indicate which courtroom you will need to attend the next day.

The above arrangements are expected to be in place until the beginning of June. The Court will publish a further announcement closer to the date from which it will be in a postion to assign a designated courtroom to these Lists.

The Court apologises for the inconvenience the above arrangements will cause, and is grateful in advance for the continued patience and cooperation of court users.
