Supreme Court Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2003

    Supreme Court Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2003.

    This regulation was made on 27 June 2003. The object of the Regulation is to increase certain court fees in line with movements of the Consumer Price Index. The Regulation also introduces a new hearing fee for long civil matters.

    The long hearing fee is for each half day (being 3 hours or part of 3 hours) on or after the eleventh (11th) day of a hearing.

    The fees are:

    $421 (in the case of a corporation) or $210 (in any other case) for a hearing before one or more Judges; or
    $379 (in the case of a corporation) or $189.50 (in any other case) for a hearing before a Master.
