New time for telephone conferences for Common Law directions hearings (effective 11 March 2008)
TELEPHONE CONFERENCES
At present Telephone Conferences are listed and conducted on Wednesday afternoons.
As from Tuesday 11 March 2008 Telephone Conferences will be listed on Tuesday Mornings before the Registrar.
Practitioners and Litigants should note the above and take that into consideration when seeking to have matters listed for a Telephone Conference in the future and also when asking for matters to be listed on a Tuesday. A limited number of matters can be listed in Court on Tuesday.
The same procedure as presently applies will continue with respect to the operation of Telephone Conferences. The parties will need to dial into the telephone directions 5 minutes before the appointed time. The number is unchanged 02 8295 0923.
Any proposed orders should be faxed to the Common Law Case Management Registrar on 02 9230 8827 by 5pm on the day before any scheduled telephone directions hearing.
