$100 deposit on transcript fees now required

Date:
02/20/2008

From now on, the Court will collect a $100 deposit on transcript fees. This deposit is payable at the time a transcript order is submitted.

The Court has updated its Transcript Order Form to reflect this new practice. The updated form is available for download on this page:
    http://www.lawlink.nsw.gov.au/lawlink/corporate/ll_corporate.nsf/pages/attorney_generals_department_court_recording

Once the transcript has been prepared and the final cost is known, you will still receive an invoice for any balance payment owing. If the final calculated transcript fee is less than $100, the Court will automatically refund any overpayment.

If you are unable to pay the $100 deposit, you may apply to have this requirement postponed or waived. The application form for fee postponement or waiver is available for download here.

Should you require any further information about this new arrangement, please contact Mark Lacey (A/Manager Client Services) on (02) 9230 8705.
