    The Supreme Court Rule Committee made the following rules of court under the
    Supreme Court Act 1970 on 15 November 2004.

    Explanatory note
    The object of these Rules is to amend Part 1 of Schedule E to the Supreme Court Rules 1970
    to remove the current restriction on the power of a registrar to exercise the Court’s power
    under rule 12 (Attendance and production) of Part 36.
