    Supreme Court Rules (Amendment No 396) 2004

    Supreme Court Act 1970

    The Supreme Court Rule Committee made the following rules of court under the
    Supreme Court Act 1970 on 20 September 2004.

    Explanatory note
    The object of these Rules is to make minor amendments to Part 67 of the Supreme Court
    Rules 1970 to replace certain outdated references to a repealed rule of that Part.

    1 Name of Rules
    These Rules are the Supreme Court Rules (Amendment No 396) 2004.
    2 Amendment of Supreme Court Rules 1970
    The Supreme Court Rules 1970 are amended as set out in Schedule 1.

    Schedule 1 Amendments
    (Rule 2)
    [1] Part 67
    Omit “the return date of the notice of motion filed under rule 11A” from rule
    12A (1).
    Insert instead “the date fixed for the first directions hearing in the
    proceedings”.
    [2] Part 67, rule 12A (2)
    Omit “the return date of the notice of motion”.
    Insert instead “the date fixed for the first directions hearing in the
    proceedings”.
