The object of these Rules is to amend Part 75 of the Supreme Court Rules 1970 to clarify that evidence in criminal proceedings may be video recorded. Schedule 1 Amendment (Rule 2) Part 75, rule 3L Insert after rule 3K: 3L Recording of evidence (1) This rule applies to all criminal proceedings in the Court (including those specified in the Third Schedule to the Act). (2) Evidence given by a witness may be recorded by video or by any other audio-visual method as directed by the Court. |
