PRACTICE NOTE NO. 52
FILING PLEADINGS

The rules relating to the filing of documents the subject of Practice Note No. 40 have been altered in respect of the filing of pleadings, as from 1 March 1989.

All pleadings will now be required to be filed at a. registry or office of a clerk of the Court, instead of by being handed up in Court.

However, where there is a risk that a recently filed pleading may not be available in Court, it is expected that the party by whom it was filed will have a copy ready to be handed up in Court if required.
