National Competition Policy Review Discussion Paper

Council of Law Reporting Act 1969

Foreword

This discussion paper has been prepared by the New South Wales Attorney General’s Department for discussion and consultation purposes and does not reflect or represent the view of the New South Wales Government. This review is required to be undertaken by the law and under the policies which have been agreed by all States and Territories.

As part of its obligations under the Competition Principles Agreement, which was endorsed by the Council of Australian Governments in April 1995, the New South Wales Government is required to undertake a review of the Council of Law Reporting Act 1969. The terms of reference of the review are set out in section 1 of the discussion paper.
