The Law Courts Library is open to access card holders from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Legal practitioners and libraries may apply for access to the Law Courts Library's collection on a “user pays” basis (access for legal practitioners does not include borrowing rights).

The Library is not open to students or members of the public.

The Legal Information Access Centre (LIAC) at the State Library of NSW has an excellent legal collection and is open to the public. Litigants in person are advised to contact LIAC for legal research assistance.
