How to Contact a Counsellor

To talk to a counsellor or to seek further information about FFMPU Counselling and Support Services please refer to the Contact Us page on this website.

FFMPU Counselling Framework

FFMPU uses the national counselling framework: Supporting Those who are Left Behind: A Counselling Framework to Support Families of Missing Persons (2007). National Missing Persons Coordination Centre (NMPCC), Australian Federal Police.

The framework was developed following a Churchill Fellowship in 2006 that explored the international approach to unresolved loss.

The framework is useful not only for service providers but for families and friends wanting to understand better the impact of, and therapeutic approaches to, ambiguous loss in the missing persons' sector.

Details of how to order this counselling framework are accessible on the NMPCC website.

FFMPU Counselling and Support Service Evaluation and Feedback

In 2007, FFMPU conducted an Evaluation of FFMPU Client Services.

Any future evaluation of client services will be posted to this website.

If you have feedback about FFMPU services please Contact Us. We would appreciate hearing from you so we can ensure our service is as relevant as possible to our clients.
