The Witness Assistance Service (Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions) provides information about, and support during, the legal process, and referral to relevant services for victims of crime and their close family members or carers. Phone the Witness Assistance Service on (08) 8207 1529.
South Australia Police Victim Contact Officers or Victim Liaison Officers give advice and information about support and counselling services and make referrals to other services if appropriate. Visit the South Australia Police website for more information.
The Department for Correctional Services website has information (found under "corporate" section) for victims of crime on Restorative Justice and Victims Register.
