Filing Fee for Initial Costs Assessor Applications

The filing fee payable for an assessment of costs for the above types is the greater of the following:
(a) $100 or;
(b) 1% of the unpaid bill or;
(c) 1% of the total costs in dispute
Filing Fee for review applications
The filing fee payable for review applications (all types) is $275.00
Costs Assessor's Fees
Initial Application for Assessment
Rate current as at 1 August 2002
$192.50 per hour payable by the party/parties as determined by Costs Assessors
Panellists’ Fee For Review Applications (Comprising 2 Assessors)
Rate current as at 1 August 2002
$192.50 per hour charged by each of the assessors on panel
Note: If original determination is varied by less than 15%, the review applicant(s) will be liable for the panellists’ fee. If the outcome is varied by more than 15%, the panellists will determine how their costs are to be paid by the parties
