The NSW Governor commissioned Mr Bret Walker SC to inquire into and report upon matters falling within the Terms of Reference. The Commission is calling for submissions from interested parties and members of the public.

The Inquiry is currently calling for comments, information or submissions on any matter relevant to the subject matter of the Inquiry.
It is the Commissioner’s intention to make available whole or part of material supplied to the Inquiry to such other persons as he from time to time determines may wish to respond to it.
In the event a person wishes all or any aspect of his or her submission to be kept confidential, he or she should clearly indicate those parts of the submission he or she wishes to remain confidential and the reasons therefore.
If, for reasons associated with the proper discharge of his functions under the Special Commissions of Inquiry Act 1983, the Commissioner subsequently proposes to publish that material, the author or any relevant submission will be notified in advance of it being published.
