Information Sessions

The Office of the Public Guardian has an Information and Support Branch which provides information to the community about the role and function of the NSW Public Guardian, the NSW Guardianship Act, medical and dental consent, guardianship standards, policies and procedures of the Public Guardian, and enduring guardianship. This is a state-wide service.

If you would like to request an information session complete the following steps:

1. Print off the Community Education Request Form

2. Complete the form

3. Fax or post the form to the Information and Support Branch (details below)

Contact the Information and Support Branch and a form can be posted to you.

Free Information Service
The Public Guardian provides an information service to the general community, service providers and to legally appointed guardians. Information on the role of the Public Guardian and its service is provided through our free publications, community information sessions or you can call and ask to speak to an information officer at the Information and Support Branch, between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.
