Promoting enduring guardianship to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities

How can people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities choose who will make lifestyle decisions on their behalf if they lose capacity?

The NSW Office of the Public Guardian continues to work with CALD communities to increase awareness about appointing an enduring guardian. The Public Guardian is conducting a series of education sessions across NSW with service providers and other professionals who specifically work with CALD communities. These groups will then be equipped to inform their clients about this planning ahead tool.

The Public Guardian has produced an Italian and Greek bilingual Enduring Guardianship Fact Sheet. The Public Guardian also has translated fact sheets in other languages. Go to the Publications page to see more.
