Legal internships
The NSW Law Reform Commission invites law students entering their final year in 2010 to apply for legal internships to work alongside Commission members and legal staff during the summer university vacation, 2009-2010.
Interns work as volunteers on a full-time basis. The Commission does not provide any remuneration or financial assistance to interns.
Interns undertake research and writing tasks that assist in the completion of the Commission’s projects. In doing so, interns extend their legal research and writing skills and increase their awareness of law reform issues. The Commission credits the work of interns in its publications.
Interns should be available to work for 8-12 weeks, commencing in December 2009 or January 2010.
Information about the Commission’s work is available in Current projects.
Information about the Commission’s structure and operation is available in About us.
