Welcome to the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) website. The LPAB is a self-funding body, created by legislation, responsible for making rules for, and approving, the admission of lawyers and appointment as a public notary. The Board also registers Students-at-Law who on passing the Board's exams receive a Diploma in Law and satisfy the academic requirements for Admission as a Lawyer.

The 2nd of February Board meeting has been re-scheduled for Wednesday 3 February 2010. -Posted 13 January 2010 The Board now accepts payment via EFTPOS (except Enrolments), Visa and Mastercard. For credit card payments other than in person, the Board requires a credit card payment form to be completed. Please see the forms and fees link for payment options.
