Getting legal advice and assistance

Legal advice icon

Staff of the Court cannot give legal advice.

However the Registry Office has compiled a referral guide for those persons who would like to be legally represented and cannot afford it. The agencies detailed below may be able to provide legal advice or assistance on a no fee or reduced fee basis. Please note that the guidelines of individual legal assistance organisations will apply. This list also includes reference to agencies that can provide you with contact details for solicitors and other practitioners.
