Witness Information - Preparation

What can I do to prepare for Court?

If you have never been into a courtroom before, you may want to visit the Court beforehand to see what takes place. Usually courts are open to the public, so you can watch other cases to acquaint yourself with court procedure.

Normally the party who has requested your attendance will want to speak to you before the hearing. This may be helpful in finding out what you are likely to be asked in court. You should also use this opportunity to ask them any questions you have.
