Good Service consumer information sessions

The Good Service information sessions provide information for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people about their rights as consumers and the free services that are available to help them.
Topics covered include:
- banks, credit cards and loans
- businesses, contractors and consumer rights
- discrimination
- doctors, nurses, hospitals or other health services
- electricity, gas and water companies
- federal government agencies (Centrelink, taxation)
- legal issues
- state government agencies (housing, police,child protection, community services, prisons)
- telephone, mobile and internet companies

Staff from the agencies involved will also be available to discuss individual enquiries.
