Has someone treated you unfairly or discriminated against you?

Some types of unfair treatment (discrimination) are against the law
    Here are some examples:
  • People at work laugh at you because of your accent.
  • Your boss dismisses you because you are pregnant.
  • Someone refuses to rent you a house or flat because of your race, or because you have children, or because you are not married.
  • Someone at work touches your body when you do not want them to, or says sexual things to you that you do not like.
    • A shopkeeper refuses to serve you because you are from another country.
    • Your boss dismisses you because you take time off work to care for your sick child.
