The Special Commission of Inquiry into Sydney Ferries is holding a Public Forum to discuss models for the funding and operation of ferry services in Sydney.
The Forum will be held at Level 21, John Maddison Tower, cnr Elizabeth and Goulburn Streets, Sydney on 2 August 2007 from 10am to 3pm.
An issues paper will be available on this website in the week prior to the Forum.
The Inquiry has issued invitations to a number of persons to participate in the discussion. There will be opportunities for interested persons in the audience to contribute to the Forum.
If you are interested in attending the Forum, please respond by emailing or telephoning the numbers below. It is not essential to register your interest, however, it will assist in planning the Forum.

Forum: Manly - 26 July 2007

The Commissioner will attend a public forum at 7:00pm on 26 July 2007 at the Freshwater Senior Campus, Harbord Road, Harbord, to hear from Manly ferry commuters and others about the Manly ferry service and any other matters within the Commissioner’s terms of reference.
The Commissioner is particularly interested in the operation of the high speed service, the need for two classes of vessels to operate the Manly service and the co-ordination of bus services to the wharf.
The public forum is being organised by the office of the Member for Manly, Mike Baird. Inquiries can be made to Mr Baird’s office on 02 9976 2773.
