The Department of Justice (DJ) has an alumni – a network of former employees that continue to be in contact with the organisation.
The alumni enables members to share knowledge, network and keep in touch with old colleagues, current staff and the Department.
Employees of the Department of Justice are committed to public service and the justice system. Integrity, innovation, hard work and professionalism are valued. The Department is committed to people development, dignity and respect and the wellbeing of its employees.
There are a broad range of positions available within the Department. These range from positions requiring little previous work experience to positions with specialised skills and experience. There is a good career path within the Department and on-the-job training is provided. There are positions available in Sydney, regional centres and in rural locations across NSW.
Joining the alumni gives you an opportunity to renew or maintain friendships, establish networks and keep in touch with the Department. You could also get involved with mentoring, projects or business process improvements.
