Community Legal Centres

The Legal Aid Commission administers funding programs for 30 Community Legal Centres throughout NSW. The Commission also provides direct funding to the Domestic Violence Advocacy Service and the NSW Community Legal Centres Secretariat. In 1996-97 100,000 people were provided with legal assistance and a further 28,000 people attended education workshops. For more detailed information about services and locations of individual centres, click on community legal centres(underlined) above.
