South Wales Branch, an industrial
organisation of employees for the dissolution and re-establishment of an
industrial committee.

ORDER
The Commission orders that -
1. The
Industrial Committee, known as the Transport Industry – Wholesale Butchers
(State) Industrial Committee, published on 2 April 1996 (293 I.G. 1096) be
dissolved.
2. There be
established a new Transport Industry – Wholesale Butchers (State) Industrial
Committee for the Industries and Callings of:-
Carters, grooms, stablemen and stablewomen, and yardmen
and yardwomen, including drivers of motor and other power-propelled vehicles,
brakespersons or extra hands employed in the wholesale transport and delivery
of meat from abattoirs, slaugheterhouses and wholesale meat depots throughout
the State, including the Counties of Cumberland and Yancowinna.
Excepting employees of the City of Newcastle on the
wages staff at the Newcastle Abattoir and employees employed in the transport
of meat solely to the retail shop or shops of their employer.
3. The said
Industrial Committee shall consist of two (2) representatives of employers and
two (2) representatives of employees.
4. The
representatives of employers shall be appointed, upon nomination as prescribed,
two by the National Meat Association of Australia.
5. The
representatives of employees shall be appointed, upon nomination as prescribed,
two by the Transport Workers’ Union of Australia, New South Wales Branch.
6. These Orders
shall take effect from 11 December 2002 for a period of three (3) years.
