ANIMAL FEED MANUFACTURE (STATE) INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE

 

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION OF NEW SOUTH WALES

 

Application by National Union of Workers, New South Wales Branch an industrial organisation of employees, for the dissolution and re-establishment of an industrial committee.

 

(No. IRC 6298 of 2002)

 

 

ORDER

 

 

The Commission orders that -

 

1.          The Industrial Committee, known as the Animal Feed Manufacture (State) Industrial Committee, published 18 August 2000 (317 I.G.1251) be dissolved.

 

2.          There be established a new Animal Feed Manufacture (State) Industrial Committee for the Industries and Callings of:-

 

All persons employed in the manufacture of feeds and licks for animals and/or in the crushing, grinding, preparation and/or handling thereof in the State, excluding the county of Yancowinna;

 

Excepting -

 

Engine drivers, firemen, greasers, trimmers, cleaners and pumpers engaged in and about the driving of engines;

 

and excepting also –

 

Employees within the jurisdiction of the following Industrial Committees:

 

Domestic Pet Feed Manufacture (State);

Starch and Condiment Makers, &c. (State).

 

3.          The said Industrial Committee shall consist of one (1) representative of employers and one (1) representative of employees.

 

4.          The representatives of employers shall be appointed, upon nomination as prescribed, one by Australian Business Industrial.

 

5.          The representative of employees shall be appointed, upon nomination as prescribed, by the National Union of Workers, New South Wales Branch.

 

6.          These Orders shall take effect from 19 November 2002 for a period of three (3) years.
