Application by OneSteel Wire Pty Ltd.

VARIATION

 

1.          Delete from subclause (ii) of clause 2, Rates of Pay, of the award published 16 August 2002 (335 I.G. 1027), the words "Sweeper and Labourer" and insert in lieu thereof the word "Entry":

 

2.          Delete subclauses (i), (ii) and (iii) of clause 4, Mixed Functions, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(i)         Employees shall retain the rate of pay of their ordinary classification for all work performed by them.

 

3.          Delete section (A) of sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph (a) of subclause (iv) of clause 21, Annual Leave, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(A)       their award time work rate of pay for ordinary time at the commencement of their annual leave as prescribed by clause 2, Rates of Pay and clause 3, Leading Hands; and

 

4.          Delete Table 1 - Wages (Award Margin Plus Basic Wage), of Part B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

	commence on or after 18 June 2003
Entry	$498.00
Plant Servicer	$535.80
Operator 1	$535.80
Operator 2	$560.20
Team Leader	$606.00

 

5.          This variation shall take effect from the first pay period to commence on or after 18 June 2003.
