1. Delete
paragraphs (iv), (v) and (vi) of subclause (a) of clause 8, Wages, of the award
published 2 August 1996 (294 I.G. 77), as varied, and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
(iv) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2000.
These adjustments may be offset against:
(a) Any equivalent
over award payments; and/or
(b) Award Wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete Table
1 - Wages - Trainees, of Part B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:

The average proportion of time spent in Structured Training
which has been taken into account in setting the above rates is 20 per cent.
4. This
variation shall take effect from the beginning of the first pay period to
commence on or after 4 June 2001.
