VARIATION
1. Delete the
paragraph titled Meal Allowance, of subclause (5), Allowances, of clause 10,
Wage Rates, Groupings and Allowances, of the award made 3 October 2001, as varied,
and insert in lieu thereof the following:
Meal Allowance and Crib Time
Where an employee is required to work overtime for at
least one and a half hours after the completion of ordinary hours, they shall
be paid by his/her employer an amount of $9.30 to meet the cost of a meal. This
provision shall not apply to an employee who is provided with board and
lodgings and provided with a suitable meal.
Where an employee is required to work overtime after
the completion of ordinary hours for two hours or more, they shall be paid by
his/her employer an amount of $17.90 to meet the cost of a meal in lieu of any
other applicable meal allowances and crib times, and thereafter after each four
hours of continuous work.
2. This
variation shall take effect on and from 17 May 2002.
