VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (a) of clause 11, Wages, of the award published 20 March 2020 (387
I.G. 125) and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(a)
(i) Employees
shall not be paid less than the minimum wages for their classification as set
out in Table 1 and 1A and 1B - Wages Section 8 - Monetary Rates.
(ii) Eligible
employees shall be paid a one-off payment, the maximum of which is set out in
Table 1A and 1B - Wages of Section 8 - Monetary Rates on or before 28 July
2021. Eligible employees shall be
full-time, part-time, temporary and casual employees who were employed under
this Award as at 1 July 2020. The payment shall be calculated as follows:
• Full-time
employees shall receive the maximum payment outlined in Table 1A.
• The payment
must be made to those working a part-time work arrangement and casual employees
in the same proportion as their actual hours of work bear to full-time hours.
• An employee
working a part-time work arrangement will have their hours of work calculated
on their average ordinary hours in the period 11 April 2020 to 3 July 2020.
• A casual
employee will have their hours of work calculated on their average hours worked
in each week in the period 11 April 2020 to 3 July 2020.
2. Delete
Section 8 - Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
