VARIATION

 

1.          Delete subclause (ii) of clause 3, Wages, of the award published 25 January 2001 (321 I.G. 1008), as varied, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

 

(ii)        The rates of pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case 2002. These adjustments may be off-set against:

 

(a)        any equivalent overaward payments; and/or

 

(b)       award wage increases since 29 May, 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum rates adjustments.

 

2.          Delete Part B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

Radiographers who are in possession of a Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Radiography shall be

paid an allowance of the amount per week set out in Item 16 of Table 2 - Other Rates and Allowances.

A radiographer employed in a hospital who is required to provide a weekly service to another hospital or

hospitals shall be paid in accordance with the following:

(a) Where a radiographer is classified and paid as a Chief Radiographer in his own hospital, he shall

be adjusted to the rate prescribed for a Chief Radiographer based on the combined A.D.A. of the

hospitals within the group service, provided that if on this basis the employee would not be

entitled to an adjustment to a higher salary rate, the employee shall be paid an allowance of the amount

per week set out in Item 17 of Table 2-Other Rates and Allowances.

(b) Where the employee is not classified and paid as a Chief Radiographer, the employee shall be

paid the weekly rate prescribed for a Senior Radiographer.
