VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (b) of clause 6, Wage Rates of the award published 22 November 2002 (337
I.G. 65), and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(b) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case
2005. These adjustments may be offset
against:
(i) any
equivalent overaward payments; and/or
(ii) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete Part
B, Monetary Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

3. Delete
subclause (c) of clause 43, Supported Wage, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
(c) Supported Wage
Rates - Employees to whom this clause applies shall be paid the appropriate
percentage of the minimum rate of pay prescribed by this award for the class of
work which the person is performing according to the following schedule:

* Where a person’s assessed capacity is 10 per cent,
they shall receive a high degree of assistance and support.
4. Delete
paragraph (iii) of subclause (i) of the said clause 43 and insert in lieu
thereof the following:
(iii) The minimum
amount payable to the employee during the trial period shall be no less than
$61.00 per week.
5. This
variation shall take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after
15 July 2005.
