The Attorney Generals Department Law Libraries (AGD Law Libraries) consists of a number of libraries in separate geographical locations in the Sydney CBD. Each of the libraries' collections specialise in their clients subject areas. A number of the libraries (Attorney Generals and Dust Diseases Library, Downing Centre Library and Industrial Relations Library) are open to the legal profession and litigants appearing before court. All libraries are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

The libraries are not open to students or members of the public.

The Legal Information Access Centre (LIAC) at the State Library of NSW has an excellent legal collection and is open to the public. Litigants in person are advised to contact LIAC for legal research assistance.
