Library Services consists of a number of libraries in separate geographical locations in the Sydney CBD. These libraries provide library and information services to Judges, Court staff, Departmental officers and designated clients. Each of the libraries' collections specialises in particular subject areas. Library Services also manages the Dust Diseases Tribunal Library on behalf of the Dust Diseases Tribunal.
A number of the libraries are open to the legal professional and litigants appearing before court. The libraries are not open to students or members of the public.
The Legal Information Access Centre (LIAC) at the State Library of NSW has an excellent legal collection and is open to the public. Litigants in person are advised to contact LIAC for legal research assistance.
